About Me
I am a lifelong writer who sees writing as analysis and criticism as creative. Meanwhile, I aim to be a force of good in higher education. I have taught undergraduate and graduate students in traditional, hybrid, and online modes since 2009. Currently, I am an associate professor of English at Community College of Philadelphia. In the summer, I score AP English essays.
I learned to play ukulele while writing a book about music in digital-age American literature. My love of music goes way back, as you can see. I'm at the piano with my grandfather, who worked for a company that stocked jukeboxes.
